Equinox Procedure Description
Submit Change to NFIP Policy This page serves as a directory for various NFIP Policy Changes agents can request through Equinox. Each change type includes details about the process, effective dates, and required documentation. Individual procedures are linked for more specific instructions.
Create NFIP Application NFIP Policies require a completed application signed by an agent and paid in full. Basic property details and NFIP data must collected as part of the application process.

At the "NFIP Rates" step, highlighted in green below, agents can generate a preliminary quote based on the details provided. This allows the agent to review potential costs before signing the application and collecting premium.

Submit Change to NFIP Coverage This procedure explains how agents can submit requests to change coverage amounts on an NFIP policy. Coverage changes include increases or decreases to building and contents coverage, as well as deductible changes. Supporting documentation may be required depending on the type of change.
Submit Change to NFIP Insured This procedure explains how agents can request a change to the insured details on an NFIP policy. These changes can include contact information, adding co-insureds or additional insureds, or making changes to the names.
Submit NFIP Cancellation Request This procedure explains how agents can submit a cancellation request for an NFIP policy.

This will not auto-issue and must be reviewed by Underwriting before it is cancelled.
