This procedure explains how agents can request a transfer or rollover of an NFIP policy. A transfer allows a policyholder to move their policy to a new Write-Your-Own (WYO) carrier or NFIP Direct during the renewal process. Procedural Steps
1. Download the Transfer/Rollover Request Form
* Log in to the Equinox platform and navigate to the "Resources" or "Forms" section.
- Download the Transfer/Rollover Request Form.
2. Complete the Request Form
* Fill out the form with the following details:
* Policyholder information (name, address, policy number) * Current and new WYO carrier details * Renewal effective date
- Ensure the policyholder’s signature is included.
3. Attach Supporting Documentation
* Collect any required documentation, such as:
* Proof of premium payment for the renewal * Authorization from the policyholder to transfer the policy
- Upload the form and supporting documents to the Equinox platform.
4. Submit the Transfer/Rollover Request
* Navigate to the "Policy Actions" menu and select "Submit Transfer/Rollover."
- Attach the uploaded documentation and confirm that all information is accurate.
5. Confirm Submission
