This procedure explains how agents can request a transfer or rollover of an NFIP policy through the Equinox platform. A transfer allows a policyholder to move their policy to a new Write-Your-Own (WYO) carrier or NFIP Direct during the renewal process. A rollover is a specific type of transfer where the agent of record remains the same.

Procedural Steps

1. Download the Transfer/Rollover Request Form

* Log in to the Equinox platform and navigate to the "Resources" or "Forms" section.
  • Download the Transfer/Rollover Request Form.

2. Complete the Request Form

* Fill out the form with the following details:
 * Policyholder information (name, address, policy number)
 * Current and new WYO carrier details
 * Renewal effective date
  • Ensure the policyholder’s signature is included.

3. Attach Supporting Documentation
